Christopher Voutsinas founded Capital Value & Income Corp. in 2011, a proprietary investment and advisory firm, building on over 30 years of investment management and private equity experience. Mr. Voutsinas is currently Vice Chair and Adjudicator with Tribunals Ontario, Assessment Review Board. Prior to that, he was Board Chair of Infrastructure Ontario, and also a board member and member of the real estate & investment committee of Waterfront Toronto.
Mr. Voutsinas has held senior leadership roles at prominent institutions including Deutsche Bank (Managing Director, Global Head of Real Estate Asset Management), Goldman Sachs (Executive Director, Real Estate Principal Investment Area), and AT&T Resource Management (Asset Manager, Signature Properties, and Headquarters Portfolio). Mr. Voutsinas has led professional teams in offices including London, New York, Frankfurt, Milan, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Jeddah, and Toronto. His professional experience includes strategy development, building and managing high performance teams, designing and implementing investment and operating policies & procedures, due diligence, negotiations, transaction structuring, and business plan execution at the asset, portfolio, and enterprise levels.
Christopher has been a member of many boards of directors, management committees, advisory committees, and investment committees of both public and private companies including Trez Capital, TELUS, Terrafirma Capital Corporation, Orbis S.A., and Wave Financial. He is also a seasoned angel investor having invested in several Canadian-based start-ups.
He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, an M.S. from M.I.T., and a Bachelor of Architecture from McGill University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors – Rotman School Directors Program having earned the ICD.D designation.
